Campus Security

Be strong and of a good courage, fear not, nor be afraid of them: for the LORD thy God, he it is that doth go with thee; he will not fail thee, nor forsake thee. – Deuteronomy 31:6

Campus Security

Our students’ safety and security is one of our primary concerns. Greater Atlanta Adventist Academy shares a unique partnership with Berean Christian Junior Academy (BCJA) and Berean Child Development Center (BCDC) catering to the educational needs of children from eighteen months to high school. All three schools work in conjunction with Q&A Security Consultants, Inc.

Uniformed police officers are utilized each day to provide a safer environment for our students in the interior and exterior of all the schools during hours of operation. A video surveillance system allows the schools staff to monitor the activities that occur inside the school, as well as, the parking lot areas located in front and rear of the complex. New high intensity outside lighting has been installed in the front driveway area of the school complex.

Our campus Safety Team meets on a regular basis to ensure we have a “living’ and “workable” plan. Each month we conduct a fire, tornado or lock down and intruder drills in association with the Fire Department of the City of Atlanta to ensure our students and employees are well aware of our procedures.
