Another GAAA USM President has just been elected president of the USM at Oakwood University, the third in less than nine years. So continues the fine tradition at GAAA, where “students enter to learn and depart to lead”. While
at GAAA, as a student, Jordain Thompson helped manage front desk operations, and served as a legal intern at UPS. Thompson moved to Oakwood in 2018, became a new student navigator, served as senator in the School of Education & Social Sciences, and placed on the 2019 Honor Roll.

He also took time to attend the University of Alabama Law School. Hear Jordain’s proposal speech as incoming president, then apply to GAAA where it all begins.
