Song is one of the most effective means of impressing spiritual truth upon the heart. – Review & Herald, June 6, 1912
Greater Atlanta Adventist Academy Choir consists of about 90 students from grades 9-12 who show music ability and promised as it pertains to vocal arts. The choir was formed in 1986 under the direction for Mr. Luther Washington II. Students auditions for placement in the choir each year. The musical selections range from the classical masterworks to gospel music. The GAAA Concert Choir serves as a public relations vehicle for the school, touring such places as Bermuda, Washington DC, Baltimore MD, Orlando FL. The major purpose of the choir is to lift up the name of Jesus in song, showing that young people do love the Lord and are called to serve Him in the ministry of music.
Here’s a recent live video recording of the choir singing “Steal Away”.
