Mission
Greater Atlanta Adventist Academy cultivates academic, social, physical, and spiritual excellence through a Christ-centered education.
Philosophy
Seventh-day Adventist Christian Education, by its very design and definition, seeks to work in harmony “with divine agencies in the fulfillment of one great purpose: to restore in man the image of his Maker” and “to bring him back to the perfection in which he was created.” Through our instructions, programs, and activities, we seek to achieve “the harmonious development of the physical, the mental, and the spiritual powers.” (Education pp. 15 & 16)

Our Core Values

Our History
Our History

GAAA was built upon the foundation of excellence laid by the Berean Junior Christian Academy, one of metro Atlanta's oldest private educational institutions providing quality education since 1901. Throughout its rich history, the founders, stakeholders, and dedicated parents, recognized the need of ensuring a Christ-centered secondary institution. In 1981, the addition of the curriculum for grades eleven and twelve gave birth to Greater Atlanta Adventist Academy, adding to the rich legacy a quality college preparatory academic program.
Our Present
Our Present
Here at GAAA, we believe that each student is unique, possesses unlimited potential for greatness, and enhances our program with his/her God-given talents and abilities. The academy opens its doors to all parents and students who are committed to collaborate with our dedicated administration and committed faculty and staff whose aim is to write positively on the pages of the mind and life of each student who enters through its doors. Paramount to our goals is the student’s development in the areas of spiritual growth, academic excellence, and Christ-like citizenship. Through guided instruction, provided within a spiritual and safe environment, we seek to nurture compassionate, service-oriented, and industrious citizens in their communities; but more importantly, students who will be excellent citizens of heaven.
Owned and operated by the Seventh – day Adventist Church, one of the world’s largest systems of outstanding Christian education, Greater Atlanta Adventist Academy plays an integral role as the scholastic culmination of this premier, K through 12, twenty-first century educational complex. The academy earned its accreditation from the governing bodies of the Accrediting Association of Seventh – day Adventist Schools, Colleges and Universities and the Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools Commissions on Elementary and Secondary Schools. The academy operates in harmony with the curriculum, guidance and direction of the South Atlantic Conference, the Southern Union Conference, and the North American Division of the Seventh-day Adventist Church.
